iPad Air 2, iPad Mini 3 Release Date: Launch Coming Soon as Apple Prepares for Vital Q4

Later this year, Apple is set to have a busy time with a lot of hardware releases as well as the release of the new iOS 8. Included in the roster are the newer generations of the iPad Air and the iPad Mini.

First, the iPad Air 2. Although this is the second tablet release from the iPad Air series, it will be the seventh release in the full size iPad series and is currently seen as the best tablet in the market.

Many manufacturers have attempted to create a tablet to topple the mighty iPad from its throne but none have come close. With such a huge reputation preceeding it, even Apple will have a hard time releasing a tablet that will surpass its own.

The iPad Air 2 is slated for a November release later this year and it will likely be at the start of the month or a week after. November is highly likely since the previous iPad was also released on the same month last year.

On the other hand, the iPad Mini 3 is set for an October release, a month after the supposed release of the iPhone 6 and iOS 8. The October date is also a likely release for the iPad Mini 3 since the second-generation iPad Mini was released in the same month last year.

There are rumors though that the iPad Mini 3 might not be called as such. In fact, the second-generation iPad Mini wasn't called iPad Mini 2 but is known as the iPad Mini with Retina display.

Both the iPad Mini 3 and the iPad Air 2 will be getting the new A8 processor chips, as well as an upgraded camera. There are rumors that the new iPad Air would have an even slimmer design than the previous release thanks to the display being integrated into the front panel itself.

In any case, Apple is generating a lot of hype – not only with the two tablets – but also with the iPhone 6 and the iOS 8. The following months will surely be a busy time for the Cupertino company.
