iPad Pro Release Date News: New 12.9-Inch iPad Could Arrive Any Time Soon, Find Out Why

Apple is coming off a great couple of weeks primarily due to its newly announced devices – the Apple Watch, the new MacBook 2015, and the next generation MacBook Air and Pro models. However, there is still one missing device that Apple has not shed light upon for the past two years.

For fans of the Cupertino manufacturer, they may be familiar with the numerous iPad Pro rumors buzzing around the industry. Yet, almost two years later and there is still no sign of the huge tablet. A new report may show some promise and give hope to iPad Pro hopefuls.

According to a recent report by Christian Today, Best Buy has just offered its existing iPad minis on sale.

In the report, the iPad mini and iPad mini 2 can be bought for only $199.99 and $249.99, respectively. Those are for the basic models that have 16GB of built-in memory and supports only Wi-Fi connections.

Meanwhile, the iPad mini 3 will be priced a bit higher, costing $349.99 on the same 16GB storage and Wi-Fi only edition.

In addition, the original iPad Air is reportedly getting a price cut as well, with a price tag of $379.99 for the 16GB, Wi-Fi only model (grey color). The 32GB version, on the other hand, costs $429.99.

Based on previous rumors, the iPad Pro could have been Apple's answer to the Microsoft Surface Pro 2 when it first launched a couple of years ago. Microsoft has successfully followed up its tablet-laptop hybrid with the Surface Pro 3 last year, and another version this year.

Yet, the Cupertino manufacturer has not announced any details about the iOS-powered device.
