iPhone 5 Release Date: What to Expect From 'Let's Talk iPhone Event' - iPhone 4S?

Apple’s “Let’s Talk iPhone” media event is only one day away, which should see the company finally clear up all the rumors surrounding the next generation device, and in particular clarify which iPhone model will be dropping in the coming weeks.

Although there have been cases leaked and other sources confirming a redesigned tear-drop shaped iPhone 5 in the works, recent evidence points more towards Apple unveiling an updated iPhone 4 or the iPhone 4S at tomorrow’s event.

The smartphone has shown up in Apple’s inventory system under the SKU N94 for an upcoming launch in three different configurations.

This N94 SKU has also appeared on iTunes with the design of the CDMA iPhone 4. This will probably mean that the iPhone 4S will sport the Verizon iPhone 4 antenna and the carrier’s version’s dual-mode Qualcomm Gobi chip.

Along with those hints, devices have been rumored to be floating around Apple’s headquarters running the new Assistant feature which bear a striking resemblance to the iPhone 4 or 4S.

N94 also turns up various times in iOS SDK.

There are also rumors that the N94 device has been tested on T-Mobile, a carrier who has been rumored to be receiving the new iPhone for quite some time.

According to tech site 9to5Mac, no tear-drop shaped iPhone 5’s are currently being produced or prepared for production.

The site received this information from its manufacturing sources.

Game developers seeded N94 device with A5 processor and N94 design back in April.

The iPhone 4S has appeared in Vodafone’s inventory system in three different memory capacities include 16GB, 32GB and 64GB versions.

There is also a lack of concrete evidence proving Apple is planning to release a redesigned iPhone which points more toward the release of the 4S.

The next generation iPhone is expected to be unveiled at tomorrow’s event.
