iPhone 6 vs OnePlus One Review: Comparison of Specs, Features, Price

iPhone 6 sales are still careening through the roof and will continue to do so especially during the holiday season. While the iPhone 6 is a premium handset with an equally premium price, some people still prefer a phone with equally high-end specs at a lower price like the OnePlus One.

Even as the OnePlus One faces controversy through its infamous invite system, disastrous pre-order windows, and sometimes defective phones, it is still coveted by a lot of people who see the handset worthwhile to have.
How will the One fare against the iPhone 6? In this comparison, the One will be compared to the equally sized iPhone 6 Plus.

The iPhone 6 Plus and the One both come with a 5.5-inch touchscreen with a display resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. While other phones are moving to QHD displays, OnePlus and Apple has stuck to full HD, and considering that battery life is an issue with handsets nowadays, a full HD display screen might not suck as much power as a QHD display, resulting in a longer battery life.

Inside the iPhone 6 Plus is the 64-bit A8 chipset with a dual-core 1.4GHz processor and a PowerVR GX6450 GPU. The One on the other hand has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 chipset with a quad-core 2.5GHz processor and an Adreno 330.

The iPhone 6 Plus comes in three storage variants, the 16GB, 64GB, and 128GB all with 1GB of RAM. The One comes with only two, the 16GB and 64GB variants but both have 3GB of RAM. Both phones have no microSD card support though so the iPhone 6 Plus wins out with its 128GB variant.

The One has a more powerful camera, with its 13-megapixel rear facing snapper compared to the iPhone 6 Plus' 8-megapixel rear facing camera.

At its cheapest (the 16GB variant) the iPhone 6 Plus is priced at around $750 while the 128GB variant will cost customers a little below $950. The One on the other hand costs some $300 for a 16GB variant and $350 for a 64GB variant.
