'Jane the Virgin' Season 3 Episode 15: Jane and Alba Take On Dating Scene in 'Chapter Fifty-Nine'

Jane (Gina Rodriguez) made a vow that she would only get back to dating once she could talk about her late husband's death without breaking down in tears. And now that she has finally reached that level where she's made peace with the reality of Michael's (Brett Dier) passing and is ready to move on to the next chapter of her romantic life, what treats and challenges await the titular character of The CW's hit romantic comedy series "Jane the Virgin"?

In "Chapter Fifty-Nine," Jane gears herself up to get back out in the field and mingle. According to the official synopsis for the episode, she will turn to her closest friends, Rafael (Justin Baldoni) and Petra (Yael Grobglas), who are, in turn, going through their own personal issues after last week's intimate encounter. Will they be able to effectively help Jane, or will they only add to Jane's struggles?

But the official trailer seems to show a very confident Jane who is more than ready to get back in the dating game. And she also seems to have taken a bit of an interest in Mateo's (Joseph Sanders) new school aide, Alex (Deniz Akdeniz). Could Alex be the next man in Jane's life, or will it all be just one big misunderstanding?

Jane's mother, Xo (Andrea Navedo), who just broke off her recent engagement with Bruce (Ricardo Chavira), may not be so lucky in love either, but the eldest of the Villanueva women, Alba (Ivonne Coll), may have finally found love the second time around with her boss and long-time crush, Jorge (Alfonso DiLuca). Will she be able to follow the younger Villanueva's advice to be an independent woman when it comes to her new date?

On the other hand, Xo and Bruce's breakup makes settling Rogelio's (Jaime Camil) lawsuit that much more difficult. Meanwhile, Petra discovers that Chuck (Johnny Messner) has been talking to the police regarding Scott's (Wes Armstrong) death, which could put her in big trouble.

"Jane the Virgin" season 3 episode 15 airs on Monday, March 27 at 9 p.m. EDT on The CW.
