Jason Sudeikis on Wedding Plans, New Movie In the Works

Jason Sudeikis has revealed an upcoming new comedy as well as details about his wedding this week.

It was after a long courtship that the "Saturday Night Live" star popped the question to Olivia Wilde, but despite rumor, the couple will not be marrying in the actor's hometown.

"She has adopted Kansas City," Sudeikis' mother Kathy told People magazine. The actor's mom added that she had given Wilde a hoodie emblazoned with the words "I Love Kansas."

However, Sudeikis shot down rumors that he would be tying the knot in nearby Lawrence, Kansas.

"It's definitely not in Lawrence," the actor told the Kansas City Star. "It was never gonna be. I don't know how those things start."

The funnyman continued to joke about the gossip surrounding his wedding plans.

"It'll definitely be a wedding tour," Sudeikis told the newspaper. "Everywhere you've heard that we're getting married, we are. Tour bus and everything. 'Lot of waving. Lot of pie eating."

Alternately, the busy actor was named in headlines about an upcoming comedy "Tumbledown" which will co-star Rose Byrne.

The romantic comedy follows a widow from Maine (Byrne) and a brash New Yorker (Sudeikis), according to Deadline Hollywood. The film also features Olivia Munn, Joe Manganiello, Blythe Danner and Michael McKean.

Meanwhile, Wilde reportedly revealed additional details about her upcoming wedding ceremony, including the date. The ceremony is to take place in Spring 2014 in upstate New York, according to The New York Post.

The "Cowboys and Aliens" star opened up while at New York City's The General, and added that a long engagement goes against her family's tradition of marrying shortly after the proposal.

Of the many reports circulating about the wedding, Wilde has recently dismissed all of them.

"Anything you heard [about timing] is a lie because we don't know yet," the actress declared during the Tribeca Film Festival this week to ABC News. "We're so blessed to be very busy at the moment, but it will be fun whenever it happens!"

The starlet did admit that while the date and location of the wedding has not been selected, her dress is taken care of.

"Monique [Lhullier] is making my dress and my bridesmaids' dresses, which is very nice," Wilde said of the designer.
