Jennifer Aniston on 45th Birthday: 'Life Is Wonderful'

Jennifer Aniston is preparing for her milestone 45th birthday this February and is not letting aging stand in the way of her happiness.

The "We're the Millers" star opened up about issues surrounding growing older ahead of her birthday on Feb. 11 in an interview this week.

Referring to her 30's as an "awkward stage," Aniston revealed a possible explanation to her long term engagement to Justin Theroux while speaking to Parade magazine.

"I'm a little bit of a late bloomer," the starlet told the magazine. "But it doesn't matter to me because [life] just gets better."

Aniston was previously married to Brad Pitt during her '30's; specifically, from 2000-2005.

Engaged to Theroux for over a year now, Aniston went on to describe life today as being better now that she has grown older.

"They do say that youth is wasted on the young, but I feel just as youthful now, if not more- than I did when I was 25," Aniston told Parade magazine. "I'm more in my body; I'm more in my mind. Life is full. Life is wonderful."

When it comes to what makes her feel confident, Aniston cited her fiancé.

"I feel most beautiful when I'm just at home with [Justin] in the morning, or any time of day with him," she gushed.

Meanwhile, Aniston made headlines earlier this month when she drastically changed her hairstyle, later explaining the impulse arose because she was "bored."

"It was kind of spur-of-the-moment," the star explained to Vogue.com. "I was flipping through television channels and I paused it to take a picture and I sent it to Chris [McMillan, her hair stylist] and he said, 'That's [stylist] Lawren Howell from Vogue!' And then he said, 'I just cut that!' So that's it."

Without a moment of hesitation, Aniston had her stylist cut over six inches of hair.

"I did it! I feel great, I feel lighter," said the actress, according to Vogue. "It's simple, it's really simple, that's for sure. But I'm always one of those girls who does a big old chop just to get it really healthy, to repair all the [damage from] hair coloring and stuff like that. And I just got bored, honestly. It's fun to change it up once in a while."

Aniston is no stranger to discussing matters of her hair, and the actress is not only a spokesperson for Living Proof hair care products, but is also part-owner of the company.
