"Rosie jumped up and took Jenny by the arm and walked her over to Tim," reported an onlooker, according to the magazine. "She said to him, 'Hi, I'm Rosie O'Donnell and this is Jenny McCarthy and she's single. I think you two would be perfect together.'"

The source added that O'Donnell insisted the two received one another's contact information.

"Jenny and Tim did exchange numbers and chatted a bit before handlers whisked him away to complete his scheduled radio tour," said the insider. "Jenny went back over to Rosie to thank her for setting her up and said, 'We'll see what happens now Ro!'"

Later that day McCarthy and O'Donnell ran into Tebow again during Chris Russo's radio show, reported NBC Sports.

McCarthy recently got out of a 10-year relationship with comedian Jim Carrey, with whom she shares a 5-year-old son Evan Joseph. The 39-year-old remains friendly with Carrey, and recently showed support for his 21-year-old daughter as she appeared on "American Idol."

McCarthy is the cousin of actress Melissa McCarthy.
