Jessa Duggar News: 'Counting On' Star Labeled as the 'Mean' Sibling by Fans

Following a "Counting On" episode where Jessa Duggar Seewald apparently ignored her husband Ben's request, fans are now calling her out for such behavior.

While she going thrift store shopping with Ben to find something nice for her kids to wear to her sister Joy-Anna Duggar's wedding with Austin Forsyth, Jessa got distracted by stick horses and wanted to buy the toys.

"When I was little, all of us older siblings had stick horses, and we loved those things," Jessa revealed, as reported by Inquisitr. "We would have little rodeos and races and stuff, and we wore those things out," she added.

However, her husband did not share the same excitement for the toys and reminded Jessa that he went on the shopping trip with her because she needed him to keep Spurgeon, their oldest son, busy while she shopped. And while Ben tried to put his foot down by telling his wife that the rocking stick horses would not fit in their van and that he was not sure how clean these toys were since they were from a thrift shop, she insisted that they could make it work and that she would make sure to check them for bed bugs.

Needless to say, Jessa got what she wanted, which led fans to believe that she wears the pants in the relationship, which goes against the Duggar family's belief that wives should always submit to their husbands.

"Counting On" fans think that Ben should exercise more authority.

Meanwhile, people have also been throwing negative comments on social media, labeling Jessa as the "mean girl" in the religious family.

On the Duggar family's Facebook page, someone reportedly said: "She's a mean girl and on the show she tries to hog up most of the conversation and likes everything centered around her."

Meanwhile, on an Instagram video showing her two children on a rather playful "wrestling match," somebody reportedly commented that Jessa has been "undermining" her husband Ben a lot.

"Poor guy he always looks so sad like he's really struggling emotionally or something," the user was quoted to have said. "It can't be easy dealing with her, especially when she doesn't discipline the kids and leaves the meltdowns for Ben to deal with."

The "Counting On" star has yet to respond to these comments.
