Jesse Eisenberg News: Actor Doesn't Plan to See 'Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice,' Says He's Not Comfortable Watching His Movies

While it is very likely that fans and critics alike have already seen "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" by now, it is interesting to note that one of the movie's actors, Jesse Eisenberg, hasn't seen how he delivered his Lex Luthor character in the movie yet. What can even be more puzzling to the public is that he doesn't have any plan watching it at all.

While it is true that Eisenberg has attended various press junkets and red carpet premieres, he said that he hasn't seen the movie in its entirety. However, this should not be given any malicious interpretation as Eisenberg has a good explanation for his decision.

"No, because I live in a bubble… I haven't seen the movie ... I watch no movies that I've been in. I read nothing about them. I saw 'Zombieland,' and I liked it, I liked it a lot, but I also felt uncomfortable. Woody (Harrelson) dragged me to it," Eisenberg said in his interview with MTV News.

While it is true that Eisenberg's portrayal of Superman's archrival Lex Luthor did not fall in the good graces of some moviegoers and critics, many have praised his different and fresh take on the role, some pointing out his impressive ability to gather different emotions from his previous movie characters and roll them into the complex attributes of Lex Luthor.

On the whole, many critics have been unforgiving of "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice," thanks to its too dark and serious theme and Zack Snyder's inability to pull together a complex and overarching storyline. Despite this, though, the movie still managed to perform impressively at the box-office, earning almost $830 million worldwide as of this writing.

Meanwhile, it still remains uncertain whether Eisenberg will reprise his Lex Luthor character in the upcoming DC and Warner Bros. film "Justice League: Part 1" as it is not certain if the character itself will be featured in the movie.

"I don't know if they are so settled on where my character goes. I only hope I have another opportunity to work with these wonderful people and play this interesting character," Eisenberg told Business Insider last month.
