'Jessica Jones' Season 2 Spoilers: Trish Helps Jessica Unlock Her Past

Trish (Rachael Taylor) will be there for Jessica (Krysten Ritter) as the latter tries to remember her traumatic past in the upcoming season of "Jessica Jones."

Spoilers reveal that one of the new storylines of the Netflix series will dwell on Jessica's childhood after her parents died. Young actress Liz Cappuccino, who played the heroine's teen self, will reportedly be back in the new installment. It has also been previously teased that a lot of Jessica's backstory will be featured, specifically the time when she was still in the hospital recovering from the deadly accident that made her an orphan. Viewers are aware that Trish's family took Jessica in when she was released from the medical facility. Since then, she has established a bond with Trish both as a friend and as a sister.

Trish is expected to help Jessica every step of the way when she starts her investigation on IGH. The group was previously revealed to be the one that financed all of Jessica's operations and hospital bills. After the treatment, it became apparent that she was no longer the same. She had superpowers and the only possible explanation was that IGH did something to her body while she was in a coma. Trish and her journalist's instinct will also push her to dig deep on this angle. She knew that the organization that changed Will (Wil Traval) into a super soldier had something to do with Jessica's transformation as well.

Meanwhile, fans of the series will be happy to know that filming is done for season 2. According to Comicbook, Ritter posted photos on her Instagram account of her wearing what looked like a wrap party t-shirt. One of her new co-stars, Diane Gibson, was also sporting the same outfit. The front of the black shirts have the word "season" written on it, with Jessica's peace sign to indicate "two." The back part has the words "nailed it" embossed in large red letters. Filming for the new installment started five months ago, and it looks like "Jessica Jones" will indeed be the next to air after "The Defenders."

"Jessica Jones" season 2 is expected to air in 2018 on Netflix.
