Jon and Kate Gosselin Make Amends? Jon Apologizes for Past Behavior

Jon Gosselin, husband of Kate Gosselin and former star of the reality television show "Jon & Kate Plus 8," has apologized for his past behavior while going through a nasty divorce with his spouse during rumors of infidelity and money troubles.

"I am sorry, because I did stuff I wouldn't want done to me," Gosselin told People Magazine in a recent interview.

Although the two spouses denied ever being unfaithful, rumors continued to swirl of their excessively friendly relations with the show's body guards and various women.

Gosselin publicly dated several women after he split from Kate, a move which critics say was definitely marring to their eight young children, who had already endured their share of hardships by being on a reality show at such a young age.

The two married in 1999 and divorced in June 2009.

Gosselin went on to accept partial responsibility for the collapse of the couples' marriage, saying, "I was passive-aggressive. Then I'd get mad, but I was the one who wasn't communicating."

After their fighting began, Gosselin dropped out of the reality show with Kate, making the reality program simply "Kate Plus 8."

The 35-year-old single dad currently lives in Berks County, Philadelphia, where he is the director of sales and promotions for Gameface International, a sports event and management firm.

Gosselin also told People magazine that there was a new love interest in his life, a non-famous, 27-year-old single mother named Liz Janetta.

According to Gosselin, the relationship between he and Kate is even amicable, and says he calls occasionally calls her for parenting advice.

"I'll call [Kate] up and say, 'Mady's sick. What do I do?' And she'll tell me," he told People. "She's a great Mom. We just have different parenting styles," he added.

A rumor swirling around in April said that Gosselin was thousands of dollars behind in child support payments, but Gosselin eventually took to Twitter to dispel the accusations.
