Hexifiy has become one of the first video game creators to tap into the unlimited potential of God’s Word and utilize it for Facebook users and gaming junkies, by releasing The Journey of Moses – an online interactive Facebook game.

The Journey of Moses launched on the social networking site just last month and has already received rave reviews.

“It’s a well polished game with amusing visuals and a surprising amount of depth, much more so than Vatican Wars or Holy town,” wrote AOL Games Blog.

In the game you control Moses before he encounters God at the burning bush and has his life changed forever.

Moses' journey begins in Egypt when he is still under Pharaoh and follows the biblical account accurately.

The Journey of Moses plays like an RPG (Role Playing Game). The game gives you a map in which players can point their arrow to various tile areas. When Moses arrives on a tile he collects various items that can be used as keys and can replenish his health which depletes while traveling on a map.

Moses also encounters enemies such as spiders crawling around Pharaoh’s palace which the player must swat away to gain experience and items.

“The Journey of Moses, like Facebook itself, is addictive, and advancement through the game, in which there is no winning or losing, is contingent on social connections,” wrote CNN Belief blog.

While joining Moses on his journey, the player is asked questions about the biblical account of Moses; when answered, they are shared on the player’s wall on their Facebook page.

The Journey of Moses is not only addicting and fun, but it teaches the biblical account effectively to the player.

“The very fact that this game does a pretty good job of clearly relating these events [of Moses’ life] in such a simple format like a Facebook game is pretty impressive… Besides, you’re going to waste time on Facebook playing a game, why not play a well-made one that’s about the Bible?” wrote Hollywood Jesus.

The Journey of Moses has just over 200,000 players and is a free game that can be shared with friends.
