Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez enjoyed a zoo outing in Los Angeles over the weekend.

The pair, who recently got back together, were photographed exploring the Los Angeles Zoo and Botanical Gardens on Sunday.

Bieber, 20, and Gomez, 21, reportedly spent several hours having a private tour of the zoo and even took the time to pose for fan photos, according to Genie Vasels, vice president for Institutional Advancement of the Greater Los Angeles Zoo Association.

"They arrived around 2 p.m. The occasion was Justin's grandparents were visiting from Toronto and he wanted to do something nice for them," Vasels told E! News.

"So he brought them and Selena, two bodyguards and his assistant to the L.A. Zoo," she revealed.

The pair wore matching jeans however Gomez opted to pair the look with a white cut-off shirt and the "Confident" singer wore a long-sleeved black shirt. They reportedly saw elephants, gorillas and orangutans among other animals during their visit.

"They were very affectionate with each other and they held hands throughout the day," Vasels said.

"The grandparents were equally lovely and everyone was just enjoying having a fun family outing," she added.

The couple have been seemingly inseparable in recent weeks following a series of dates, including dinner outings and a movie date.

On Friday they enjoyed a dinner date at Hollywood hot spot Mastro's followed by a viewing of "Think Like a Man Too" at the Westfield Century City mall theater in Los Angeles.

"Justin's extremely doting on her, and there hasn't been one second where he hasn't been touchy-feely and sweet with her," a source told people.com. "They're pretty inseparable and very affectionate."

While fans are thrilled about Bieber and Gomez's reconciliation, insiders claim pop singer Taylor Swift is not. The pair split in April after a reported fight at Coachella.

"Taylor and Selena are still friends even though she went back to Justin but Taylor has set some boundaries which include no talking about Justin," a source told HollywoodLife.com.

"Taylor really cares about Sel but she doesn't want to be an enabler when it comes to Justin," the insider explained.
