Justin Bieber will take a DNA test in two weeks time to prove that he is not the father of fan Mariah Yeater’s baby.
According to reports Bieber will take the paternity test when he returns to the United States from Europe. Bieber and his team will then allegedly sue Yeater.
Sources told TMZ, “Bieber and his team think it's important to file a lawsuit against Yeater to show there are consequences when somebody trumps up phony, hurtful allegations against a celebrity.”
Yeater claims she had a tryst with Bieber after his concert at L.A’s Staples Center on Oct 25 last year.
The paternity allegations Bieber faces have not affected his relationship with girlfriend Selena Gomez, as the pair was spotted together ahead of MTV’s awards show on Saturday.
Bieber’s legal team has vehemently denied any involvement Bieber had with Yeater, the mother of a 3-month-old baby boy.
“While we haven’t yet seen the lawsuit, it’s sad that someone would fabricate, malicious, defamatory AND demonstrably false claims,” said Bieber’s representative speaking to US Weekly earlier this week.
Adding, “We will vigorously pursue all available legal remedies to defend and protect Justin against these allegations.”
Meanwhile, Bieber won Best Male Act Award at the MTV Europe Music awards Sunday night.
