Justin Bieber Baby: Manager Vows to Play Hardball With Mariah Yeater (VIDEO)

Justin Bieber's manager, Scooter Braun, had some harsh words for Mariah Yeater's legal team Thursday morning in an interview with Z100's Elvis Duran and the Morning Show.

News surfaced Wednesday that said Yeater had withdrawn her lawsuit, which claimed Bieber fathered her 4-month-old baby. Yeater’s lawyers, however, denied the reports Thursday saying that the suit may be filed again after Bieber takes a paternity test.

"This case was never dismissed," lawyer Jeffrey Leving said. "We are trying to settle this matter out of court with Bieber’s camp."

Braun, however, said Bieber's team is not going to walk away quietly from the claims.

"The only thing I'm going to say is they will never be in settlement talks with us, we will never settle with them," he told the morning show. "That's my little guy right there. I protect him. They messed with the wrong crew. It's false and people should be held accountable when they run out there and say this stuff."

"They've got this lawyer running around out there saying, 'well, we want everything to be held confidentially now,’" Braun continued. "You don't get to go out there and bad mouth a 17-year-old kid to the entire world and then suddenly think it's going to be kept confidential. We're not going to go away quietly."

Yeater claims her child was conceived in a brief sexual encounter after one of Bieber's concerts in October 2010 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. Yeater, who had a front-row seat, said a security guard approached her asking if she would like to meet the star. Soon after meeting backstage, Bieber lost his virginity to the then 19-year-old woman in a quick bathroom tryst.

"It's unfortunate that people make false accusations," Bieber said in the interview. "But things happen in this industry, and you just have to keep your head high and be positive, and that's all I really have to say."

In the midst of the controversy, the teen star was still able to find some humor in the situation.

"If it was up to me, it would have been a better story, like, Justin Bieber went off to South America with this 27-year-old supermodel," he joked. "That would have been an awesome rumor."
