Justin Bieber decided to show off his rap skills in Detroit recently by rapping the words to Eminem's song "Lose Yourself", however he did not recite the words correctly.

In the first line of the song, Bieber rapped that his "palms are heavy" instead of "palms are sweaty," Complex reported. However, the 19-year-old Canadian crooner did not let his minor flub stop the show.

Two years ago, Bieber spoke about working with the famed Detroit rapper.

"I would like to work with Eminem," Bieber said on "Live With Regis and Kelly."

In the past Bieber has let it be known how much he enjoys rap music, but has had to deny rumors about being banned from the BET "Rap Cypher" previously. Although rumors surfaced that the pop star wanted rapper Ludacris to write his lyrics and was denied the chance to participate, the singer said the incident never took place.

However, he admitted having an affinity with a variety of music.

"I have a love for all cultures," Bieber said on New York City Radio station Power 105.1 previously. "I love hip hop and I love rock music. I love it all."

Eminem previously dissed Bieber in his song, "A Kiss" saying "evil seeps through him."

Still, Bieber has been performing Eminem's "Lose Yourself" in concert since 2009 and has spoken about getting support from various members of the Hip Hop community throughout the years.

"I like Hip Hop a lot. I'm really glad they've taken a liking to me," he told MTV News three years ago. "Having Luda [on my song 'Baby'] and having Lil Wayne give me shout me out on UStream and, like, you know - it's cool."

However, Bieber insists that Hip Hop has been in his life for quite some time.

"Even since I was young, my dad and mom both introduced me to hip hop music, so incorporating that into my music is something that I like to do," he told The Breakfast Club radio show last year.
