Justin Bieber Gets Bloody, Talks Relationship

Pop singer Justin Bieber has covered Complex magazine's April issue sporting a beat-up and bloodied face.

The 18-year-old was photographed by Tony Kelly wearing a polka dotted bow tie with bandaged hands and holding a raw piece of meat against his cheek. The image also reveals fake blood dripping from the singer's mouth.

"I'm not changing for anyone. I'm a fighter," wrote Bieber on Twitter along with a picture from photo shoot. "I'm ready. Bring on the doubt. WE READY! :) #6DAYS."

Bieber is releasing the first single, "Boyfriend," off of his new album, Believe, March 26. While promoting the new single, Bieber also opened up about his relationship with Selena Gomez while speaking to the magazine.

"There's no way to hide the relationship completely, because then it would be unfair to us," said Bieber, who noted that he and his longtime girlfriend have given up trying to hide that they are together.

"It's like, 'You take this car, and I'll take this car, and then we'll meet up at the spot," continued the singer. "Then, you go in this door, I'll go in this door. We'll end up crossing ways. You get back in the car. We'll cross over, do a James Bond. You go in through the kitchen. I'll go through the back area. Then we'll meet in the dressing room and see each other.'

Bieber and Gomez have been together for nearly two years, and the "Baby" singer explained that trying to keep out of the public eye can do more harm to the relationship than good.

"At that point, it's not even a relationship," said Bieber.

"I give up a personal life, I give up friends and family to pursue what I love and makes fans happy," he added during the interview.

Bieber, who has several religious and meaningful tattoos on his body, also divulged that he plans on getting more ink when he is older.

Of the small seagull tattoo on his hip inspired by Richard Bach's book "Jonathan Livingston Seagull," Bieber explained that his entire family got inked with the same bird when he was 16.

"They all got in on their wrist, but I wanted it in a different spot," said Bieber. "The book is about a seagull who wanted to be more than just a seagull. I'm trying to be more than just a regular person. I'm trying to be extravagant."

Bieber's third studio album Believe is expected to be released this summer.
