Kandi Burruss Tells Kenya Moore to 'Drop The Charges' After Porsha Stewart Arrest (PHOTO)

"Real Housewives of Atlanta" star Kandi Burruss took to social networking site Instagram yesterday to urge Kenya Moore to drop charges against their co-star Porsha Stewart.

On Wednesday reports confirmed that an arrest warrant had been issued for Stewart stemming from a violent brawl which broke out while filming the season 6 reunion show in March.

Stewart reportedly attacked Moore, which prompted the former Miss USA to call 911 and file a police report and shortly thereafter rumors about Stewart possibly being fired from the show began swirling, according to TMZ.com.

Burruss, who cast Stewart in her play "A Mothers Love," expressed her disappointment to her 1 million Instagram followers using hashtags on Wednesday.

"#FreePorsha #KenyaDropTheCharges #TheyBetterBringPorshaBackSeason7 #WhyYouCallThePoPoe #StopTheMadness #WatchOverMe," Burruss wrote alongside a flipagram video featuring herself and Stewart.

"#AMothersLove playing is @Porsha4real on #AMothersLove soundtrack. I need Porsha to be out & free so we can shoot our videos! Get the soundtrack now on iTunes! Or DVD/CD at KandiOnline.com," she pleaded.

In a reunion preview clip Stewart and Moore can be seen seated on one couch with their co-star Cynthia Bailey in between and as tensions rise, everyone grows more uncomfortable. The Bravo TV stars exchange a number of words, including Stewart threatening to "f--- [Moore] up" and within seconds both women come to blows and Stewart is eventually carried out while Moore is left in a distressed state.

The footage was reportedly enough for police to charge Porsha with misdemeanor battery and her lawyer, Joe Habachy, confirmed that she turned herself in to police on Thursday. She was booked and released and is said to be doing well.

"She's doing great," source told E! News.

Bravo TV executive Andy Cohen recently weighed in on the incident admitting that he is disappointed that violence ensued.

"There was an altercation that took place between Kenya [Moore] and Porsha [Williams]," Cohen said on the latest episode of "Ask Andy." "I don't want that to happen. I think it's gross. And I think it's just totally inappropriate. It's wrong. It's not entertaining. It's just bad."

Last month reports claimed Burruss, Bailey, NeNe Leakes and Phaedrea Parks banded together to support Stewart. The co-stars reportedly vowed to quit the show if Stewart is fired over the brawl, however, this remains unconfirmed.

At this time no cast members have been confirmed for season 7 as insiders reveal all contracts are currently on hold.
