Kansas City Chiefs vs Pittsburgh Steelers takes place on Monday Night Football with the Steelers looking to keep the heat on the Baltimore Ravens at the top of the AFC North. The game starts at 8.30 p.m. ET and can be watched online through live stream (details below).

The Steelers come into this match with a record of 5-3, hoping to catch the Ravens who are 7-2. However, they will also be weary of Cincinnati who are in third position and 4-5. A win today would help them consolidate their push for a wild card spot and continue their drive for a play off spot.

Meanwhile Kansas City are having a terrible season and come into this game with a record of 1-7 and lie bottom of the AFC West. Their season is already almost all but over, but a win today would give them so hope to catch third positioned Oakland Raiders who are 3-6.

The Chiefs simply need to keep the ball better and they have had way too many turnovers so far this season. In only eight games they have given away possession needlessly a total of 29 times. That's already more than they allowed all of last season when they turned over 28 times. Only the Buffalo Bills and the Philadelphia Eagles are within even 10 of that total.

The record for turnovers given away is 63 set by the Seattle Seahawks in the 1984 season. With eight games remaining the Chiefs could come near that unwanted record if they do not get their act together.

Kansas City also have a turnover ratio of minus 20, having only claimed 9 themselves. That is well towards the record in the NFL which is currently held jointly by the Chicago Rockets in 1948 and the Pittsburgh Steelers in 1965, both whom had a minus 30 turnover ratio at the end of the season.

The Steelers are of course the opposition tonight and they would love nothing more than to contribute towards the Chiefs apparent crash towards that record.
