"He sees marriage as outdated and he's all about embracing the modern and the new. He doesn't feel like he has to marry Kim just because they have a [daughter, Nori] together," the source added.

Given the last time Kim was married it did not end well sources say the reality star is perfectly content with staying partners with West for the forcible future.

"Kim feels like she's been there, done that when it comes to a big, splashy wedding," the source reveals.

"She used to be so much more into the fame game, but now that she's drifting away from the family and trying to do her own thing, she's becoming more adamant about doing things on her own terms and keeping it low-key. It took her a while to learn the value of privacy, and to abandon the idea of another over-the-top wedding, but she's getting there thanks to Kanye's influence."

This comes after news that West is not impressed with Kim's design skills ahead of her new baby clothing line.

"He opened doors for her where they were once shut, which is great," an insider told Radar Online. "But now he's giving her his two cents on everything and it's driving Kim crazy. The truth of the matter is that he doesn't think Kim has good style and he knows whatever she produces will be a direct reflection on him. He doesn't trust her to do her own thing."
