The 35-year-old rapper, who has been dating Kardashian for approximately 6 months, is said to be planning a romantic vacation in October where he will allegedly shower her with in-demand designer goods.
"Kim has been really down about turning 32 and having two failed marriages behind her and no children, so [Kanye] wants to make this extra-special. Plus it's her first birthday since they've been together as a couple," a source reportedly told The Sun U.K.
"Kanye has never been shy of splashing out on the women he loves, but this time he's pulling out all the stops with presents," the source went on.
West has reportedly planned a trip to Pine Cay, which is a private island in the Turks and Caicos Islands, and a number of Kardashian's close friends will be in attendance. A private chef has also been hired to cook 5-star quality meals daily for the famous couple.
He has also spent thousands of dollars on designer goods, including a made-to-order special edition Prada bag reportedly lined in a "KK" print, a pink diamond bracelet, and a couture Chanel dress.
Kardashian's million-dollar birthday celebration will top West's lavish 35th birthday present from Kardashian, 31. The reality TV personality spent $750,000 on a black Aventador LP700-4 Lamborghini for West, who was said to be extremely pleased with the gift.
The pair are said to be getting more serious and rumors of an engagement have been swirling for several weeks. West allegedly designed an engagement ring for Kardashian using his late mother Donda West's jewelry.
"His friends think it's a terrible idea and are advising him not to give Kim the ring because it's a gift, it would be difficult for Kanye to ask for it back if they ever split up," a source close to West told RadarOnline.com
"They've also reminded him that Kim is not somebody who works hard for her money. She makes millions doing reality shows and selling her image, and Donda's jewelry shouldn't be part of that image," the insider added.
