Kate Middleton Pregnancy: Duchess 'Out of the Woods' But Expecting Twins?

Kate Middleton surpassed a most trying stage in her third pregnancy as sources revealed that she's no longer suffering from extreme morning sickness. The Duchess of Cambridge, however, might be carrying twins this time around, if rumors are to be believed.

A family member declared that the Duchess is "out of the woods" from experiencing Hyperemesis gravidarum. Sources said that she will be swinging back to her royal duties soon enough as her condition steadily improves.

Just this Tuesday, Oct. 10, the Duchess attended a Buckingham Palace reception for World Mental Health Day with her husband Prince William and brother-in-law Prince Harry. The public saw the Duchess' tiny baby bump for the first time in her light blue dress from Temperley.

This has been the Duchess' first public appearance since August and following the announcement that she's pregnant with her third child. She missed out on seeing off her first-born child, 4-year-old Prince George, on his first day of school at Thomas's Battersea last September because of the severity of her morning sickness.

Middleton would be less than 12 weeks pregnant at this point and she and Prince William are slowly preparing for the baby's arrival. Rumors speculate, however, that the Duchess might be having twins, a girl and a boy.

"Wills and Kate have certainly been busy making arrangements for not just one, but two royal babies," sources said. "They're also interviewing for another nanny to help Maria and they're looking to arrange even more renovations to make an extra nursery."

The palace did not confirm the Duchess' due date but royal watchers surmised the baby – or babies – will arrive before April 2018. Prince William, however, expressed in one of his royal charity visits that the duchess might give birth earlier than expected. Royal watchers bet that Middleton will still give birth at the same hospital where Prince George and Princess Charlotte were born.
