Kate Middleton Pregnant? New Rumors Say Duchess Suffered Miscarriage Earlier This Month

Duchess Kate Middleton has been the subject of much speculation and numerous rumors concerning a second pregnancy. However, a new batch of rumors suggest that Kate suffered a miscarriage earlier this month, though Kensington Palace has not confirmed any of the reports or speculation.

"On a morning in early July, Kate woke up feeling unusually sick," GLOBE magazine wrote in its latest issue. "At first she thought that it was going to turn into the same type of morning sickness that she had in the early pregnancy stages with George but it became obvious pretty quickly that this was worse. The Royals summoned Kate's doctor and were told that she was suffering a miscarriage."

Middleton was then reportedly put on bed rest for four days until she regained her strength, according to the report. It wasn't long before she was back performing her royal duties and attended the kick-off for the Tour de France with husband William and brother-in-law Harry on July 5. Kate looked to be in fine health at the time, and no one gave any indication that anything tragic had happened. That may have been because Kate and William were the only two who knew of the pregnancy in the first place.

"Sources say that the first and one of the only people that Kate and William shared the news with was Queen Elizabeth," Celebrity Laundry reported. "She encouraged them to grieve and then move on, knowing that they will give George a brother or sister when the time is right."

Since then, the family has celebrated George's first birthday in royal style. The family posed for photographs and then had a private party with Queen Elizabeth, Prince Harry, and the Middleton family, as well as George's godparents. It was a small, intimate affair, just as Kate and William requested.

"We would like to take this opportunity on George's first birthday to thank everyone over the last year, wherever we have met them, both at home and overseas, for their warm and generous good wishes to George and our family," William and Kate said in an official statement.
