Kate Winslet has debuted her wedding ring following her quiet marriage to Ned Rocknroll late last year.
The 37-year-old actress married Rocknroll during a ceremony that was kept very hush-hush and was only attended by "her two children and very few friends and family," her representative confirmed.
Obviously a very private person, it comes as no surprise that Winslet has only just now revealed her wedding ring.
While grocery shopping in Hampshire, England, the "Titanic" star was dressed casually donning the new wedding jewelry, reported the Daily Mail. A gold band adorns the actress' left ring finger.
Born Abel Smith, 34-year-old Rocknroll is the nephew of businessman and Virgin airlines founder Richard Branson and the ex-husband to socialite Eliza Pearson.
It was not the first marriage for English-born Winslet either. The Academy Award-winning actress was formerly married to Jim Threapleton and director Sam Mendes, and shares children with both.
Meanwhile, Winslet and Rocknroll's nuptials also saw special guest Leonardo DiCaprio, who escorted the bride down the aisle, giving her away as part of the "really romantic, private ceremony," a source told The Sun U.K.
DiCaprio and Winslet both starred in 1997's "Titanic," and have been great friends ever since. The bride asked the actor to do the honors at her wedding because of their kinship.
"It wasn't a spur-of-the-moment thing; they had been planning it but wanted to keep it secret," an insider told The Sun.
Although the New York City nuptials were top-secret, the couple became engaged over the summer after having dated since 2011.
The newlyweds met while visiting tycoon Branson's home in the Caribbean Necker Island.
"Ned was heartbroken and went to Necker [Island] to take his mind off things," a source revealed the The Sun in 2011. Rocknroll had just split from his first wife at the time.
"But when Kate came out they really hit it off," the source added.
During their stay, a fire broke out. Winslet was able to rescue Branson's 90-year-old mother.
