Webb and McCarron, the former quarterback for the University of Alabama, have not yet revealed when they plan to wed. The couple has been dating since 2012, and according to insiders, got engaged in Gulf Shores, Ala at the Beach Club Restaurant, according to People magazine.

Meanwhile, the 24-year-old bride-to-be gained popularity after sports announcers complimented her appearance during a college football game championship last year. Afterward, Webb's modeling career skyrocketed with offers including an appearance in Sports llustrated. However, the model acknowledged her unusual rise to fame.

"I was completely dumbfounded. It was so shocking to me because literally overnight I go from being AJ's girlfriend and going to support him in the championship game to being on every major media news outlet," she told Sports Illustrated after the game.

Webb went on to reveal her reliance on God for direction in her life.

"It's just so surprising to me. I don't know what God has planned, but obviously He's working on something. When Sports Illustrated called it just became even more real that this is happening. Every single model wants to be in Sports Illustrated, and I feel extremely blessed to have that opportunity."

McCarron seems to feel just as blessed to have her as a part of his life.

"Loving my life like no other! Beautiful family, great girl beside me and a small circle of great friends and my teammates," McCarron posted to Twitter around the same time. "#blessedfromabove."
