Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx Dating? Seen Together Holding Hands

Are Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx secretly dating?

For the past year and a half, persistent rumors of the two dating have been around, but a new report and photo from Us Weekly appears to confirm that the "Dawson's Creek" alum and "Annie" actor are indeed romantically involved.

The picture, which was reportedly taken in February, shows Holmes and Foxx holding hands. As detailed in the latest issue of the magazine, the 36-year-old actress has been allegedly secretly spending time with Foxx since the summer before last, when he wooed her at a benefit in the Hamptons.

Holmes shares 8-year-old daughter Suri with her ex-husband Tom Cruise, to whom she was married from 2006 to 2012.

"Jamie is someone she can trust and have fun with," said a source to the magazine. "She's getting everything from Jamie that she didn't get from Tom."

Meanwhile, another source from Mirror says that the relationship is not "an intense romance."

"Jamie and Katie are friends and have been for a long time. They are two adults who are attractive and single, and so apparently conclusions will be drawn. They're not about to run off and make some serious commitment," the insider said.

Sources close to Cruise told TMZ that the actor is still involved with Suri and that he will be returning to Los Angeles once filming for "Mission Impossible 5" is done.
