Katy Perry was recently photographed enjoying an evening with John Mayer amid rumors that the pair has been dating for several weeks.
The rumored couple reportedly dined at Pace restaurant in Los Angeles before moving on to the Chateau Marmont Hotel where they hung out for three hours, according to The Sun U.K.
Perry, 27, was recently spotted getting some pizza with Mayer, 34, in West Hollywood just one day before they spent quality time together at SoHo House in New York on June 19.
"They were affectionate, holding hands and cuddling," one onlooker recently told Us Weekly Magazine.
Mayer, an occasional philanthropist and singer, has been linked to various A-listers including Jennifer Aniston and Jessica Simpson- both of which he publicly insulted after breaking up with them. He also dated country music star Taylor Swift, who released "Dear John" after their break up, a song about a man mistreating his girlfriend.
Perry, who finalized her divorce from Russell Brand in February, reportedly dated Mayer briefly in 2009. Fans are concerned that their relationship will end in tears due to his history with women.

"Katy, who's had a crush on John since 2009, has been on several dates around Los Angeles. [She] seems to forget about John's womanizing rep and the fact that he disastrously dated her pal, Taylor Swift," a source told The Sun.
The "Hot and Cold" singer recently revealed that despite her divorce and heartbreak she is still open to getting married again in the future.
"I'm a woman who likes to be courted, strongly. Never say never, I guess you'd say," Perry told Elle magazine's September issue."I'll let love take the lead on that."
In June, Perry confirmed that she was taking an extended break from showbiz at the end of July to reflect and "heal" following the pain from her divorce.
"I need to let my heart heal," Perry reportedly told the Daily Mirror U.K. when explaining her reasons for taking a break.
