Singer Kelly Clarkson can't wait to marry Brandon Blackstock and start a family. The couple decided to elope in order to avoid all the press coverage and stress, but Clarkson is more excited to have children than anything else.
"I want babies, like, right off the bat," she said on Elvis Duran and the Morning Show. "I'm totally gonna have a girl. My first child will be a girl – I know it in my soul."
Clarkson also revealed that she already had four names picked out, two for boys and two for girls. She didn't want to tell what they were in order to protect her privacy and her claim on the names, meaning that someone may choose to use the exact same names for his/her own child.
Right now the "American Idol" winner is busy promoting her latest holiday album, "Wrapped in Red," which will be released on October 25. Clarkson and Blackstock, stepson of country music legend Reba McEntire, decided to do away with the stress of planning a wedding in the midst of working and will elope whenever they feel ready.
"What's kind of fun is Brandon's a pilot and I'm being certified right now, as we speak," Clarkson told ABC News. "So, I'm flying us there and he's flying us back. Who flies themselves to their wedding, I don't know! We are really excited for the intimacy factor."
The couple will exchange vows in Tennessee, with Blackstock's two children from a previous relationship as the only guests. Clarkson promised fans that they would get to see some footage from the ceremony, though, just as they saw photos from the engagement shoot.
"We are making a special video for our family and friends, and then doing one for fans because everyone keeps asking. We are actually putting together, since everyone liked the engagement photos so much, a little booklet kind of thing we will put online," she explained.
