Khloe Kardashian to Adopt Baby Despite Lamar Odom Drama?

Khloe Kardashian was recently photographed visiting an adoption lawyer and sources claim the reality TV star is considering adopting a baby, despite reports of marital woes with Lamar Odom.

The E! star, who has been open about her fertility struggles in recent years, is reportedly determined to have a child and sources claim she is leaning towards adoption. Kardashian, 29, has remained tight-lipped regarding the recurring divorce rumors surrounding her marriage to Odom, 33, but reports insist the pair did in fact separate in recent weeks.

"She never ruled out adoption, and now she's pursuing it," a friend of the Kardashian family told In Touch Weekly magazine.

"Khloe is saying she'll have a baby regardless of what's happening with her marriage," the source explained, adding, "the adoption will be addressed on [Keeping Up With The Kardashians]."

On Sept.11, Kardashian, who has been married to Odom for four years, was reportedly photographed at the office of an adoption lawyer in Woodland Hills, Calif. The reality TV star is believed to have kicked the NBA veteran out of their marital home in the wake of affair rumors and an addiction scandal.

"She knows she may have to raise this baby alone. Becoming a mother is the most important thing to Khloe — that's her goal in life," the source revealed.

"Whatever happens in her marriage, Khloe will have a baby. That's all there is to it," the source added.

The adoption reports follow unconfirmed claims that Kardashian matriarch, Kris Jenner, is pushing her daughter to divorce Odom. Jenner, 57, allegedly believes that the explosive rumors surrounding the couple's marriage could ultimately have a negative affect on the entire Kardashian brand.

"At Kris' insistence, Khloe did meet with a divorce lawyer … it was something she was forced into doing by her mom. Kris was very heavy handed and said Khloe had a responsibility to her sisters, Kim and Kourtney, and the Kardashian brand to distance herself from Lamar," a source close to the situation told RadarOnline.com.

"It's all about the bottom line with Kris, and Khloe could care less about that. She is still holding out hope that her marriage to Lamar can be saved," the insider explained.
