Kim Kardashian and Kanye West 'Spending Time At Home,' New Mom Thanks Fans in Note

Kim Kardashian finally opened up about daughter North West over one month after the baby girl arrived this week.

Believed to have the nickname "Nori," the child is the first for Kardashian and boyfriend Kanye West and arrived five weeks early on June 15.

Although neither 32-year-old Kardashian nor her daughter have been spotted in public since the birth, the reality television star is thanking her millions of fans for their warm wishes in a blog post Wednesday.

"Hey guys, these past couple of weeks have been filled with the most exciting experiences of my life," started the television personality in a post to Celebuzz.

"I'm enjoying this time to fully embrace motherhood and spend time at home with my family," she explained. "I've been reading all of your messages and want to thank you all for your sweet thoughts and best wishes. It truly means everything to me. I am so blessed to have the support of my family and fans in this beautiful moment. Xo," she added.

Signed "with love," Kardashian appears to be settling into motherhood nicely.

True to her words, Kardashian and baby Nori are in fact spending time with family. The baby reportedly attended cousin Penelope Disick's first birthday party last Sunday, according to Us Weekly.

However, the child "stayed in the house because she's too little to be around that many people," according to an insider.

"She's doing great though," the source added.

Kardashian is expected to reveal her daughter at some point soon "on her own time," said mother Kris Jenner during her talk show "Kris."

In the meantime, Kardashian has begun making small outings and was spotted in Southern California on Tuesday.

"Kim looks amazing, she really does," said a fan who saw the new mother to Radar Online. "She's dropped a lot of baby weight already … not to say she still doesn't have a ways to go, but she looked slim and was glowing."

Throughout her pregnancy, Kardashian was criticized for her maternity fashion as well as her weight gain.

Despite the criticism, the entrepreneur is "calm" about getting back in shape, according to her trainer Tracy Anderson.

"It's a tough time, and a lot of women feel like it's a huge mountain to climb to get back, but Kim, surprisingly, has had the total opposite reaction to other moms," said the celebrity trainer speaking to Us Weekly. "She's like, 'We're going to be so good. It's fun, I feel great!'"

"She just loves the whole process," added the 38-year-old fitness mogul. "From our talks during her pregnancy, I thought she was going to be really concerned [about her weight] once the baby was out, but she's really just not … She's in baby heaven."

"She's excited to get started, but she's really calm about it," noted Anderson.
