Kim Kardashian Details Planning Small, Intimate Parisian Wedding Ceremony

Kim Kardashian is revealing that her wedding will be a small intimate ceremony sometime this year.

Kardashian, the 33-year-old "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" star, accepted rap mogul Kanye West's lavish marriage proposal on her birthday last October. Now, Kardashian is opening up about some new details concerning her nuptials.

"As we are going along, we realize we want it to be smaller and more intimate than people are imagining and thinking," she told friend and KIIS FM radio show host Ryan Seacrest earlier this week.

While she has publicly stated that she Will let West have his desires for the wedding, Kardashian revealed one thing he does not want to have too much involvement in.

"There's certain things I'm like, 'I know you're going to hate the seating chart, so I'll take care of this,'" she told Seacrest, "and then there's some things that are really important to him. [But] the seating chart is like death."

Kardashian confirmed that she will marry sometime this year in Paris, but refused to divulge on any more specifics concerning the date or location.

Sources close to the bride-to-be said that the pair's 8-month-old daughter North West will have a major role in the ceremony.

"North will have a large role in the wedding," an insider reportedly told Us Weekly earlier this year.

While Kardashian's mother and manager Kris Jenner has expressed her approval for her daughter's upcoming nuptials, she has also been sharing her thoughts about the future union. One of those thoughts is her daughter changing her famed last name, which has become her brand.

"Who wouldn't want that," Jenner said on the "Today" show previously. "If you're getting married, it's kind of a very traditional thing."

The grandmother told hosts Kathie Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb that West is an "amazing" future son-in-law. Still she previously revealed that she may not be involved in any wedding planning.

"I don't know if they'll let me jump in," Jenner told People magazine last year. "That's two very creative minds getting together and they definitely have their own ideas."
