Kim Kardashian recently confirmed that she is due to give birth in July, but a new report suggests that the baby may actually be due earlier.
During a recent baby shower for fashion stylist Monica Rose at Bagatelle L.A., Kardashian was reportedly overheard revealing that her and Kanye West's baby is due in June, according to The New York Post.
Some critics anticipate that the reality TV star, 31, may have lied about her due date for security reasons, while others believe that she may simply want more time to shed the excess baby weight. Kardashian has yet to address the report.
In February, it was claimed that the reality TV star is expected to take extreme measures to protect her privacy when she goes in to labor. In January 2012, Beyonce, who is a good friend of West's, spent in excess of $1.3 million on hospital security when she gave birth to her and Jay-Z's first child and Kardashian will reportedly follow suit.
"They definitely want their s--- to be on lock and don't want nosy a-- people all up in they stuff," a source close to the couple told HollywoodLife.com. "
Various reports stated that the Beyonce, 31, and Jay-Z, 42, paid the substantial sum to rent out an entire wing at a private New York hospital, which ultimately inconvenienced other patients. The couple reportedly hired an overzealous team of bodyguards and demanded that security cameras were taped over- something fans anticipate Kardashian and West will do as well.
"It's going to be like Fort Knox at whatever hospital they deliver at," the source said, referring to the U.S. Army Post.
The Daily Mirror U.K. claimed Wednesday that Kardashian had recruited a French astrologer "to help find out about her new arrival and help decorate the baby's room."
"Kim has now employed a top astrologer in Paris to draw up all the qualities of a 2013 Cancerian baby and is busy sourcing all the icons associated with Cancer the crab for the baby's room," a source reportedly told the Mirror, adding that "it will also be decorated with rubies and moonstones- Cancerian gems."
