Kim Kardashian's Wedding Anniversary With Kris Humphries: Remember the Wedding? (VIDEO)

Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries are officially celebrating their one year anniversary, although they have been attempting to get a divorce for the greater duration of their union.

By law, Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries are still married thanks to a difficult divorce that has the couple split and now to resolve unfinished matters. The idea may seem strange considering that the couple only remained committed to the marriage for the first 72 days; that equals to a 2-and-half-month marriage and an almost 10-month divorce.

The unhappy couple actually began dating in October of 2010, and made a quick decision to get married only seven months later. The wedding did not occur until nearly a year later, in August of 2011. That works out to mean that Kim Kardashian spent more time planning her wedding and her divorce than she actually spent dating Humphries; 24 months planning versus 10 months together.

That hasn't stopped Humphries of course, from claiming that Kardashian has all but ruined his life by leaving him heartbroken and distraught. He allegedly has had a girlfriend in the meantime, although the couple was said to have split after Humphries denied her existence.

Meanwhile Kardashian has moved on and is ready to promise herself to a new man, according to reports, which also claim that Humphries is using the divorce to stay in the spotlight.

"There is going to be a scheduled status conference on Wednesday for Kim and Kris' divorce," a source told Radar Online last week. "Kim has told her lawyer that the case is dragging because Kris is determined to keep his name in the press and drag her name through the mud. Kim is ready to get engaged to Kanye, but doesn't want to until her divorce is finalized."
