Kingdom Hearts 3 Release Date, News: Amazon Offers Discount With Pre-Order

Players have long been waiting for any new updates about the highly anticipated Square Enix game Kingdom Hearts 3, and now they will have the chance to place their pre-orders for the game while enjoying big discounts.

Amazon made an announcement stating that it will be releasing the next installment of the hit RPG for $40.99 instead of $59.99.

The site however noted that fans have only one day to make their pre-orders of the KH3 game.

Aside from the 20 percent pre-release discount, a lot of people are still wondering what the popular Disney Universe-inspired crossover game will offer in its next title.

According to PSU, Kingdom Hearts III will feature "an extensive cast both old and new."

The information was given by Square Enix's Tai Yasue himself, who recently spoke with Nexxtup to reveal a few details of the much-awaited game.

"There are two teams but they are mixed, overlapping and I guess the programmers are split. There is one team for porting 1.5 and 2.5, and 3. So they are separated but the game design and artists are overlapping due to both," Yasue said.

"During the initial stage for Kingdom Hearts 3, we had a lot of planning for game design, experimentation, research and development. [This way] it's good and productive, artist and designers do both at once," SE's head went on to say.

It was also revealed in the interview that apparently, SE wanted KH3 to round up the loose ends hanging around within the hit gaming franchise.

"Most definitely can you can expect that after all we want to conclude the saga in Kingdom Hearts 3 and there are lot of threads that haven't been completed, for example Ventus and Terra in Birth By Sleep, what's going to happen to them for example. There is going to be lot of stuff like that in Kingdom Hearts 3, so expect a lot of characters, old and new," Yasue further said.
