While there has yet to be any official plot details regarding the new film, there are predictions indicating that the new film will head to the U.S. From the title, it teased that the movie will focus on the Knights of the Golden Circle, a secret society from the U.S.

What Is the Golden Circle?

The purpose of the Golden Circle is to bring golden circles in Mexican territories to divide the slave states. Established during the mid-19th century, their initiatives developed a separation throughout the Southern U.S. states.

From that, many believe that the characters of "Kingsman: A Secret Service" will collide with the American counterparts of the secret agency, the "Statesman." Together, they will investigate the secret societies around the U.S.

Who Runs the Golden Circle?

Though no official news have been revealed, it was said that the villain of the story will be played by Julianne Moore. She will take on the role of Poppy, who aims to reinstate slavery around the country. Matthew Vaughn previously spoke to Collider about the importance of the villain in the upcoming story.

He said, "I didn't know if I wanted to direct this or not. I was worried about the villain. Spy films are only as good as their villains. Then one morning I woke up with the whole storyline in place, and a new villain plot."

It was reported that the villain's lair will be called "Poppyland," which will illustrate a utopia of caucasian people. Though promising, many fans are curious to see how the story will unfold, as it is expected to explore a sensitive topic.
