Kris Jenner is reportedly thrilled with the amount of publicity that has been received from her daughter Kim Kardashian's sex tape, it has been revealed.
On Thursday, reports began swirling that Jenner, the Kardashian martriarch, staged Kardashian's famous tape herself and she is said to be pleased with the recent media frenzy surrounding that speculation, according to Hollywood Life.
"When news broke that Kris helped Kim make her famous sex-tape, Kris could care less. For Kris, publicity is publicity, whether it's good or bad," a source told HL.
"Kris has always said that remaining in the spotlight is what generates fame and money. It's all business for Kris and she feels like one day her daughters will thank her, regardless if they feel embarrassed or humiliated by certain stories that are revealed to the public," the source added.
Kardashian, 31, has openly spoken out about the humiliation which she felt when the sex tape, which features her ex-boyfriend Ray-J, was leaked to the media, but despite that, Jenner is said to be very appreciative of the film.
"If it hadn't been for that sex tape, the whole Kardashian empire would be no where! Kris is very proud of what she has created!" the source said.
While Jenner, 56, has not publicly responded to allegations that she crafted the idea of Kardashian's filmed sexual encounter, it is believed that Kris Humphries has proof that she did play a behind-the-scenes role in the reality star's infamous tape.
Humphries, Kardashian's estranged husband, reportedly told Myla Sinanaj, a woman who he recently dated, that Kardashian's sex tape was staged by Jenner.
The NBA star, 28, reportedly has proof that Jenner played a role in what some critics suspect may have been a ploy to boost her daughter's fame status after witnessing what leaking a homemade sex tape did for her former friend Paris Hilton.
Humphries, who recently finalized his divorce deposition, is expected to reveal explosive evidence about the Kardashians during his upcoming divorce trial against Kardashian herself.
