Kris Jenner Wanted Christina Aguilera to Sing at Kim Kardashian's Wedding?

Reports are surfacing that Kim Kardashian’s mother, Kris Jenner, had in mind a different performing artist other than Earth, Wind and Fire to play at her daughter's much anticipated wedding this past Saturday.

The circulating news reportedly comes from a close Jenner “insider” and is causing speculation that the mother of six decided to pass on pursuing an all-star performer for Kim's wedding due to expense.

Reports are stating that Kim’s mother decided not to pursue artists such as Christina Aguilera and Jennifer Lopez to perform at Saturday's wedding because their performances would likely come with a price tag of around $1 million.

Overall, the extremely lavish event already cost approximately $10 million.

The wedding happened at a private estate in Montecito, California and had 450 guests. Snacks included $750,000 worth of caviar, kobe beef burgers, and truffles. Celebrity chef Wolfgang Puck did the catering.

Meanwhile, guests left the reception with several gifts in hand including a notepad with the couple’s picture on it, a candle wrapped in a KK-embroidered box, and heart-shaped Krispy Kreme donuts.

However, MSN finance reports that the Kardashian’s probably did not pay for any of the wedding costs, but instead made money from the wedding by cashing in more than $17 million with exclusive deals with People magazine and E! Entertainment to cover the wedding.

LA event planner Tony Schubert told MSN finance that the wedding probably did not cost the couple anything stating, “It benefits vendors, their goods and services (to be) shown to millions of people.”

The star-studded event included guests such as Ryan Seacrest, Mel B, George Lopez, Lindsay Lohan, Eva Longoria, and Ciara.

The bride and groom danced their first dance as Mr. and Mrs. Humphries to “Angel” sung by Robin Thicke.

The bride wore three separate Vera Wang gowns throughout the evening and managed not to cry during the ceremony.

Unfortunately, even though the celebration did not involve the high pitched vocals of Christina Aguilera or Jennifer Lopez, it was still cut short after neighbors complained of noise to the police.
