Kristin Cavallari Mansion: $10,000 Monthly Rent in Chicago Suburb (PHOTOS)

Former "Hills" star Kristin Cavallari and her NFL husband Jay Cutler are currently spending more than $10,000 a month on rent.

Located in the Chicago suburb of Winnetka, the 8,200-square-foot mansion is only a short drive away from the Chicago Bear quarterback's job. The couple shares the massive house with their 8-month-old son, Camden.

Cutler and Cavallari were married in June. Cutler's contract with the Chicago Bears will end next year, however, meaning that renting a home could be the most practical decision for the time being. Cavallari admitted during a recent interview that being married still felt strange.

"We were both just like, 'I can't believe we did it!'" she told People magazine in June. "Especially Jay, because he's never worn a ring before. It's going to take some getting used to."

The couple's new home however, may be easier to adapt to. Cavallari has already noted the gourmet kitchen is her "favorite room in the house." The kitchen is equipped with marble counters, top-of-the-line appliances and an adjoining room that offers a fireplace to warm up to.

While the home may seem rather large now, Cavallari said earlier this week that she and Cutler may be ready to fill up one of the empty rooms soon.

"We are both ready for baby no. 2," Cavallari told E! News while promoting her first ever collection for Junk Food and NFL Women's Apparel, which will debut at STYLE360 during New York Fashion Week. "I don't have any announcement today, that's for sure, but we're gettin' there."

Speaking about marriage a month after the "adjustment" period, the star added that married life was "great."

"Married life is great," she said. "To be honest it feels the exact same ... Once you live together and have a baby together, not a whole lot changes. But it's been great and we're really enjoying it. I have an additional ring on my finger, yes."
