The new series will take place with a New York backdrop as two young girls battle out the high price tag city on a low budget. The show will star Krysten Ritter, 30, as a New York native and Dreama Walker, 25 as the inexperienced city rookie.
According to Ritter, who has appeared in films like "27 Dresses" and also held television roles on shows like the "Gilmore Girls," fans are in for a laugh.
"Yeah. It's a fun time. It's an explosion of color and fun," Ritter told OntheRedCarpet, adding that each episode was "epic."
Ritter also expressed her enthusiasm over the role, suggesting that it was a unique opportunity for an actress like herself.
"It doesn't happen every day that a character like this comes along for someone like me who's you know, quirky and weird and not conventionally pretty," she told Yahoo. "Roles like this are really far and few in between."
As a more seasoned New York, Ritter plays the party girl who is on the search for a roommate. She lures in Walker, who she has never met before and is new to the city.
"My character Chloe runs many scams," Ritter said. "The one we see most is the roommate scam which is when she gets young girls right of the bus to move in and then takes their firsts, lasts, and security and drives them crazy until they run home."
However despite the on-screen tension, Ritter also confirmed that the chemistry between her and Walker was very amiable off set.
"We have so much fun together. We giggle a lot," Ritter told OntheRedCarpet. "I was laughing every day. Just something really to be said to be going to work and you're going to laugh all day.
