Former Victoria's Secret model Kylie Bisutti gave up a successful modeling career in order to pursue a more Christian life and career. Now Bisutti has shared that she is 8.5 months pregnant with her first child and is absolutely thrilled.
"8.5 months pregnant. I just can't wait to hold this little baby and meet this little gift God gave me!" Bisutti tweeted.
Bisutti is not the only pregnant member of her family, though, as her own mother is expecting a child the day after Bisutti. It will make for a double blessing for the family. Bisutti is over-the-moon to welcome her own child and is busy making last-minute preparations for the newest member of the family, including making a camo-cake for her husband, Mike.
The former model currently works in the fashion industry, making a Christian-based clothing line and speaking to groups of girls about her experiences and how they can make good decisions and have stronger self-esteem.
"Today, I'm focused on creating a Christian clothing line, speaking tours and my blog, imnoangel.org. My clothing line comes out next month, and it will feature models of all shapes and sizes promoting our modest clothes," Bisutti said in an interview. "I want girls to see people who look like them, so they feel good about themselves."
She has successfully done so, with her book, "I'm No Angel: From Victoria's Secret Model to Role Model," which has reached thousands of people. And her clothing line, God Inspired Fashion, has expanded to include baby clothes. Bisutti tweeted that she has received requests from people about the clothing line being made available internationally, proving that people are quite interested in the modest apparel.
"Our mission with God Inspired is to spread God's word EVERYWHERE!!!! We want to get God's word back in schools, the workplace, and ultimately all over the world. Our clothing will make it easy for Christians to share their faith and God's word. GI clothing will help believers identify/connect with other believers encouraging fellowship and support! Help start a revival, spread the word change a heart," Bisutti posted on her blog.
