Lady Gaga and Boyfriend Christian Carino News: Couple Share Sweet Moment in Rare Photo
Lady Gaga, also known as Stefani Germanotta, recently shared a selfie with her boyfriend Christian Carino on social media. The Grammy-winning singer rarely posts pictures with her new guy but this particular instance was a special moment.
Carino is seen sweetly resting his chin on his girlfriend's shoulder in the photo, but there's a tinge of sadness as to why she's sharing the selfie. In it, the Mother Monster is wearing a pink Oscar de la Renta gown as a tribute to Sonja Durham, her friend who died of breast, brain, and lung cancer last May.
Lady Gaga wanted to remember her friend on her birthday. Carino sat behind her as a supportive boyfriend.

"I managed to dress up and feel better in a beautiful pink sequined dress generously gifted to me," Lady Gaga wrote on Instagram. "Sonja would want us to celebrate her Birthday. So we are. Dressed in Pink and handing out pink chocolate kisses for #breastcancerawareness."
Lady Gaga also shared a photo of herself and Durham in a separate post. She simply captioned this with, "I love you forever Sonja. #breastcancerawareness #womenempowerment."
Meanwhile, Lady Gaga and Carino's romance sparked in January this year after they were seen together at an Elton John party. The Hollywood agent knew her for years as he represented the "Bad Romance" singer as well as big-name clients like Simon Cowell, Miley Cyrus, and Justin Bieber.
In September, Lady Gaga publicly professed to be in love with Carino. Their relationship followed her romance with actor Taylor Kinney, whom she dated for five years.
Lady Gaga and Kinney broke off their engagement in July 2016. The 31-year-old singer claimed their relationship suffered as a price of her fame as a world-renowned pop star. At that time, she just landed a big role alongside Bradley Cooper in "A Star is Born."
Lady Gaga felt that if her career was doing great, her love life usually suffered and she experienced this cycle in her previous relationships. The ex-couple, however, remained friends despite their breakup.
