Lady Gaga, Boyfriend Taylor Kinney Ready to Have Kids?

During the past couple of months, there have been rumors swirling that say Lady Gaga is engaged to her boyfriend, actor Taylor Kinney. The two have been dating for three years now and though they have kept a low profile throughout their relationship, they have been frequently photographed together in recent months, and the couple even takes to Instagram and Twitter to share their photos with everyone. Is this a sign that the couple is ready to settle down? And moreover, are they ready to start having children?

At one point, Lady Gaga thought she was ready to have kids with her boyfriend. In an interview with Parade, the "Applause" singer opened up about what she thought she was ready to do.

"I thought I did [want kids immediately], because I was feeling kind of finished with the chaos of my life," said Gaga. "But then I started to spend more time with [Tony Bennett] and everything just became simpler, more pure and more perfect. Now I'm going to take a lot more time before I have kids and settled down. I just want to sing."

According to E!Online, at one point, Gaga wanted to stop singing altogether. She had a hip surgery back in 2013 and apparently the singer had a difficult time recovering from it. It was also said that Gaga might have been a little depressed due to the harsh criticism and poor sales that her album, ARTPOP, received.

"Six months ago I didn't even want to sing anymore. I tell Tony every day that he saved my life," she admitted.

The singer also opened up about how an unnamed person tried to take advantage of her financially.

"I'm not going to say any names, but people get irrational when it comes to money—with how they treat you, with what they expect from you," said Gaga.

Lady Gaga and Bennett teamed up for a new album, Cheek to Cheek, which is a collection of jazzy duets. The 88-year old singer had nothing but praise for Gaga.

"She's up there with Ella Fitzgerald, who was the greatest singer in the world," Bennett said.
