Known for her outlandish costumes, strange hairstyles and bizarre antics, Lady Gaga raised eyebrows this week when she revealed the state of her relationship dynamics with Taylor Kinney.

When describing their relationship on Monday, Gaga, 27, said she happily submits to Kinney, 32, her boyfriend of three years.

"He's totally in charge. I mean, when I am home, I am like, shoes are off, I'm making him dinner. He has a job, too, and he is really busy!" said Gaga.

The Grammy award winning singer said her busy lifestyle is part of the reason why she feels no resentment about letting Kinney call the shots at home.

"I'm in charge all day long, the last thing I want to do is tell him what to do," she said as reported by US Weekly. "It's not good for relationships to tell men what to do."

Kinney and Gaga, who recently made waves for vomiting on stage during tour, have been dating since they met on the set of her 2011 music video "You and I."

Despite her and her boyfriend's seemingly at-odds public personalities, Gaga has insisted that they are on the same page.

"He is extremely strange, actually, and we complement each other's weirdness," she said. "And you know, at the end of the day he's my best friend. And having your lover be your best friend, I mean, it's the best thing ever."

Current Dancing on the Stars contestant Candace Cameron Bure surprised some earlier this year when she revealed that also practiced being submissive to Valeri Bure, her husband of 18 years.

"I am not a passive person, but I chose to fall into a more submissive role in our relationship because I wanted to do everything in my power to make my marriage and family work," said Bure.

Bure told HuffPost Live that she looked to the Bible when translating the word submission.

"The definition I'm using with the word submissive, is the Biblical definition of that. So, it is meekness -- it is not weakness. It is strength under control, it is bridled strength," Bure told HuffPost Live, comparing her marriage to the hierarchy of the Armed Forces.

"It is very difficult to have two heads of authority," she added. "It doesn't work in military, it doesn't work - I mean you have one President, you know what I'm saying?
