LaLa Anthony Talks Dealing With Women Interested In Carmelo Anthony

Lala Anthony, media personality, mother and wife to New York Knicks player Carmelo Anthony, recently spoke about how she handles women attempting to get too close to her husband.

Anthony, 34, recently joined Bravo network host Andy Cohen on his late night show, "Watch What Happens Live" to promote her new relationship book, "The Love Playbook." While on the show, she revealed how she handles women who may be looking to involve themselves with her husband.

"They always get too close. I just think that's how some girls can be," she told Cohen on the late night show. "As long as it's respectful, I can deal with it."

Still, the basketball wife admitted that she was not willing to let anyone cross any boundaries.

"There's a line of you going too far," she said on Cohen's show. "I definitely let them know."

Last year, Lala took to the talk show Bethenny where she opened up to host Bethenny Frankel about why she was not worried that her husband was being unfaithful to her.

"I'm just very secure in myself. I can't worry about what's happening on the road," Lala told Frankel. "I know our relationship. I know we have a great relationship. He's my best friend and that's what I put my energy on."

Lala revealed why focusing on infidelity can drive a woman crazy.

"If we think too much about what's going on when we are not there and checking phones and cracking email codes, that will drive a woman crazy," she said. "You have to be secure in yourself and hope that's the best."

Although a number of marriages have dissolved after being showcased on reality television shows, Lala spoke about how she avoided the same fate as the star of the Vh1 series "Full Court Life."

"You don't want to give too much to where it can be destructive or hurt your relationship, so I'm always very conscious of that, but so far, we've done well with that," she told Sister 2 Sister magazine last year.
