Laurie Fine Accused of Sex With Syracuse Players

In the most recent development of a slander suit involving molestation accusations against Syracuse assistant coach Bernie Fine, documents submitted in court by one of the coach's accusers claim that Fine's wife was sleeping with several different basketball players.

Assistant basketball coach, Bernie Fine was fired from Syracuse University in November after three players came forward charging him with molestation accusations. Now in a new affidavit, Bobby Davis, a former ball boy to the men's team has stated that he overheard many players openly talking about having sex with Fine's wife Laurie Fine.

According to The Associate Press, "Davis said players joked about it and it seemed to be an openly known fact that Laurie Fine had sex with basketball players."

Davis is one of the three men who have accused Bernie Fine of sexual molestation. According to AP news, Laurie Fine's lawyer has referred to the accusations in the newest affidavit as "disgusting" suggesting that they are a "desperate" attempt to keep the suit alive.

The newest filing is an attack on current Syracuse basketball head coach Jim Boeheim. Davis has argued that the head coach called him an opportunistic liar, after he came forward with his accusations of Fine. Davis has repeatedly stated within the report that Boeheim knew or should have know what was going on.

"He knew or purposefully chose to ignore Fine and his wife's behavior," Davis said in the affidavit. "He had every reason to know that I was telling the truth, but he instead lashed out at me and called me and my brother liars."

Davis' step-brother brother, Mike Lang, came forward with Davis to accuse Bernie Fine of molestation.

Davis also described Laurie Fine's pick up moves in the report. "She would focus on one individual player and start paying enormous attention to that one player by doing the player's laundry, lending him her car, giving the player money and gifts, including jewelry, and generally ingratiating herself into the player's life until it became clear that they were in an intimate relationship," Davis explained.

The affidavit was filed Monday in New York State Supreme Court by high-profile lawyer Gloria Allred.
In an email to the Associated Press, Allred wrote, "If Laurie Fine was having multiple sexual relationships with basketball players, then the university must explain how this could have been taking place for years right under Coach Boeheim's nose without his being aware of it and without the university's doing anything about it."

A spokesman for Syracuse said the university would comment at an appropriate time.
