'Law and Order: SVU' Season 15 Spoilers, Rollins' Gambling Habit Returns?

"Law & Order: SVU" is returning to NBC on Wednesday following the Sochi Olympic coverage with a brand new episode entitled "Comic Perversion."

Ahead of its airdate, spoilers about the episode have leaked online this week, including news that "Comic Perversion" draws discussion on the price of some jokes. According to CarterMatt.com, the "Law & Order" episode will explore the moral responsibilities of comics.

Looking ahead at March, "Law & Order" will see Donal Logue guest-star in a Rollins-heavy episode where her gambling habit may make a return, according to E! News. In another episode entitled "Gambler's Fallacy," Rollins is revealed as a police officer in an illegal gambling ring, and is forced to join to pay off her debt.

"The risk of losing her badge is the least of her problems when something unthinkable happens on her watch," E! reported.

In the same episode, Thomas Sadoski reprises the role of Nate Davis while Stefanie Scott returns as Clare Wilson.

Meanwhile, the synopsis of the Feb. 26 episode "Comic Perversion" is found on TVGuide.com.

"A comedian jokes about rape while performing at a college, and then his fans assault a student," it reads. "Later, a woman accuses the comedian of rape and Benson arrests him, bur Barba fears Benson may have acted too eagerly. Meanwhile, a Chicago cop seeks help from the NYPD."

Sophia Bush guest-stars on the episode at the Chicago detective, while Jonathan Silverman guest stars as a popular comedian Josh Galloway.

Earlier this year, "SVU" lost the Cpt. Cragen character, leaving fans wondering who will take his place. Show runner Warren Leight offered his take on the situation.

"In some ways, he's leaving at a horrible time for the squad," he said, speaking to TV Guide. "Olivia's now dealing with her PTSD from the trial, so she's pretty raw. Amaro has just shot a 14-year-old and becomes a target of the new mayor administration … He's falling apart. Rollins we all know has slipped, and the captain is leaving. It's horrible timing. Therefore, I think its good dramatic timing."
