'Law & Order: SVU' Season 16 Spoilers: Recap for Episode 7 'Chicago Crossover', Episode 8 Plot Rumors

Last Wednesday's episode of "Law & Order: SVU" sees the Manhattan SVU as they join forces with the Chicago P.D. as they track down the people behind a child pornography site. The episode features a crossover with "Chicago P.D." and guest stars Sophia Bush, Jason Beghe, and Jesse Lee Soffer.

The episode starts with Olivia getting a call from Hank (Beghe) who tells her that Erin (Bush) and Jay (Soffer) are headed to NYC to help her on the child pornography case. Jay and Erin arrive at SVU and Erin says that one of the kids on the photos that they found is her brother Teddy. She said that the pictures came from a child pornography ring that streams live videos online. They get to work with the SVU team to identify the children.

Their search leads them to a youth center where a woman named Jocelyn said that Teddy was now soliciting at the piers. They go to the pier, and Erin approaches her brother. It turns out that Teddy does not want to help and blames Erin for not looking for him sooner. She tells him that she knows what happened to him when he was young. Later, he reveals that it was a man named George who works at the youth center was the one who introduced him to the sex trafficking ring.

The team arrest George and interrogate him. Olivia steps in when Hank becomes a little too rough and reminds him that he needs to follow her rules. Later, the website starts to stream videos of a young boy named Henry who is chained up and about to get raped. They track down the location, take down those who are present, and rescue Henry.

When they return to the station, Rollins tells Olivia and Hank that the problem is far from over as the sex ring is still going strong and they have an 11-year old girl who is about to be the next victim. They track the ring's location to Chicago, so Hank tells Erin that he's going home to begin the search.

Meanwhile, here is the synopsis for episode 8 titled "Spousal Privilege."

"A domestic violence dispute involving a sportscaster and his girlfriend will get uncovered on security-camera footage from a parking garage, but the girlfriend will be reluctant to seek legal help because she doesn't want her family to break apart," the summary reads.

"Law & Order: SVU" airs on Wednesdays at 9 p.m. on NBC.
