Leak Reveals An "All-Glass" IPhone

A leak coming from one of the most reliable sources online has reportedly exposed the ingenious plan of Apple Inc. in incorporating something new and something big for its next iPhone. According to Ming-Chi Kuo, there is enough information in his possession that the future iPhone will be featuring a completely redesigned body made up of an "all glass" enclosure.

The news comes after another rumors that surface a couple of days back, saying that the giant tech company has talked to Samsung about providing the new iPhone with an OLED display.

So if those two rumors happen to be true after all, it means that there will be two primary upgrades to expect from the new iPhone, namely the all-glass body that replaces the old material tradition and the OLED display that will finally retire the LCD screen.

Kuo further revealed that the new smartphone, expected to be named "iPhone 7" will look pretty similar to the current line made up of the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6s. However, the major upgrades aren't really expected to be integrated this year.

However, it is also worth mentioning that Apple is no stranger to using glass in their devices. As a matter of fact, the company tried to put some glass in their iPhone 4 and iPhone 4s production, but the large number of complaints alleging that the backs of the phones easily cracked forced them to abandon the idea, at least for now.

But because of new technology and advances in glass-making, Kuo believes that Apple will finally pull a surprise in this new phone.

And while it has been so common for news publications, blogs, and websites to spread unsubstantiated rumors, Kuo is someone who has gained a reputation for telling the truth. In fact, he was the one who spread the news about certain Apple products like the iPad Pro, the change in the screen size of iPhone 6, and the release of the 12-inch MacBook.
