Leaked Photo of Samsung Galaxy S8, LG G6 Shows Off Smartphones' Features

LG G6 and Samsung Galaxy S8, two of the upcoming smartphones coming to the market this year, have reportedly been unveiled before their official launches. A leaked image of both devices is taking the Web by storm, as it shows exactly what interested customers will be buying soon.

LG is supposed to launch its newest flagship during the 2017 Mobile World Congress to be held in Barcelona, Spain this Feb. 26. Samsung, on the other hand, is expected to unveil the Galaxy S8 in New York this March. Evan Blass, a popular tipster, posted the leaked image of the smartphones (both the silver variants) on his Twitter account. In the photo, the front and backside of the models are visible due to their clear cases.

From the image, it appears that the rumored features of the Samsung Galaxy S8 are true. The phone comes with a high screen-to-body ratio, with the expected curved display. There is no home button. At the top bezel is the front or selfie camera as well as the iris scanner. At the back, the fingerprint scanner is placed on the right side the rear camera. On the left side, an LED flash is visible.

According to BGR, the side of the Galaxy S8 includes a new button for Samsung's next generation virtual assistant, Bixby. At the bottom side, a 3.5mm headphone jack can be seen.

Meanwhile, the LG G6 smartphone features a dual rear camera complete with two LED flashes. The placing of the fingerprint sensor is said to be more convenient than the Galaxy S8's. It can be found embedded below the main rear camera.

As promised by the company, the LG G6 comes with a redesigned LG UX. Some of the features have been upgraded. It also includes the "Always-on Display" feature. Just like the Galaxy S8, there are no buttons on the front side. At the top right corner, what looks like a 3.5mm headphone jack is visible.
